Zug Basketball

About the club

Zug Basketball brings players together around one simple idea: basketball is better as a team. Whether you are shooting your first free throw or running a fast break, the club is about playing, improving and having fun with others.

Named for Zug, Switzerland

The club takes its name from Zug, a town in central Switzerland. Zug is the capital of the canton of Zug and sits on the shore of Lake Zug (Zugersee), and German is the language spoken there.

Why basketball?

• It is a team game: passing, spacing and teamwork win.
• It is easy to start: a ball and a hoop are all you need.
• It keeps you active and builds friendships.

Who runs the club?
